2006 NANBF Kansas City Gold's Classic - Sept 16, 2006

Just arriving to the venue for pre-judging. We had to park about 1/2 mi away. Ready for a fun morning of pre-judging.

The KC competitors meetings are alot of fun and set the tone for the morning.

These are 2 ladies (Jen and Jerianne) Jim and I coached for this, their first show!

Here we are before hitting the stage. If you notice the inset pics are our before pics - reminders of where we all started this journey.

Walking onto the stage in a large short class and oh does the competition look tough!

This is a pic of the whole short class

I seemed to be a little flat this morning, but so far all seems to be going well.

Here I am next to the eventual winner

They started moving all of us around the stage and little by little I was being moved towards the end

Still more position changing, what I didn't realize they were setting the placings

More quarter turns

This is the same turn, just the other end of the line

Here is the final turn after all of the moving around

In the middle here is what was to be the top of the class

No time to be concerned with symetry it's over, now to my favorite round, the presentation.

This morning, I was relaxed and enjoying the moment

All of the hard work is now being judged and is out of my hands.

I just love how my back is coming along

Mel Gibson?..... where?

Arriving for the evening show with some of the folks from the bflnebraska Transformation Workshop

Oh yeah, this morning didn't look like it went to well but that is done, tonite it is all about the show! Pump up the volume!

Jim always seems to catch me in the midst of my poses. He's funny for 7 shows now he always says the camera just doesn't fire immediately

I love doing this walk at finals. The music is cranked, the crowd is into it, the atmosphere just rocks!

I took the opportunity to show off my new set of gunz. It is great to finally see hard muscle

I come out of the double bicep shot and into the traditional back pose

Jim missed my wave but caught me heading off stage. I am now off to the Bluffs Classic for figure and to make my bodybuilding debut!

Here are the winners of my class. As you can see there was some serious muscle up there.

After pizza, my body got rock hard. I was showing Jim and he ran for his camera and this is the resulting pics

Is there snow on top of that mountain? LOL

Here is a difference a year makes. The bottom is last year at KC and the top is this year. Muscle maturity comes with time, never as fast as I want.

Ok, this pic is out of the ordinary for me since I am in my bra, but it really shows what post-comp pizza can do to a body.
